  • Screen
  • Lapel microphone for speaker/moderator
  • Stage with lectern and microphone for speaker
  • Handheld microphones

If you need any additional audiovisual equipment please contact the conference management. AV technicians will be available each day to upload presentations on the conference laptop and assist speakers with technical issues.

Time keeping

Each speaker has 20/25 minutes for his/her presentation, with 5 minutes allocated to questions from the audience. When you are preparing your talk, we suggest you plan for a presentation time of 15/20 minutes (maximum of 12 slides); this will give the chairman enough time to introduce you.
Please ensure that your presentation does not run over the time allocated.

No sales pitches
Conferences are for education, not sales pitches. The biggest complaint we get is that a speaker spent the session talking about commercial products instead of educating the audience.

Be readable
Make sure your slides and handouts are legible to everyone. To make sure your message comes across, try to avoid many different colors or too much information on one slide.

Creativity & Interaction
Try to involve your audience in your presentation, interaction creates discussion!
Liven up your presentation by using anecdotes, slides, photos and videos that make the ideas and stories more tangible.
